Changing Loss is currently being studied in many local congregations around
the country. In response to requests from pastors, lay teachers, parish nurses,
and group facilitators, I have recently completed a free Leader’s Guide for local churches that wish to study
this book. It provides detailed lesson plans to be used with small group and
grief recovery support groups. If you would like the Leader’s Guide, just send a request to me at john.b.fpb@gmail.com and I will attach to a
return email an electronic copy of the 28 page booklet.
Seeing Through the Eyes of Jesus
Free Power Point Presentations designed for use with local church studies of Seeing Through the Eyes of Jesus are now available from the author. Upon request, separate presentations for each chapter can be sent as a series of attachments to E-mails. Each chapter presentation contains valuable summary points, and relevant artwork appropriate for local church use. Teachers and study leaders may change and adapt the presentations to fit the needs of their classes. When requesting the presentations please indicate the church or other location where the study will take place. While the Power Points are free, the presentations are not to be used by anyone who has not received explicit written permission from the author to do so.
To maximize the effectiveness of the presentations
teachers should request that students read appropriate chapters before classes.
